WOOOOT!!!!! We got our NOA1 in the mail today!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

09/09/05 we met

19/10/07 we officially got together

23/12/07 we spent 3 months together on the VWP

16/05/08 we spent another 3 months together on the VWP

05/08/08 last time we were together :(

K1 PROCESS

29/10/08 I 129F mailed to California

19/11/08 I 129F received!!!!!! how long?

25/11/08 NOA1 received...woot!

08/01/09 TOUCHED

25/02/09 APPROVED

16/03/09 Packet 3 received

09/06/09 medical

10/06/09 IV 15 Mailed to embassy

16/06/09 packet 3 sent

24/06/09 packet 4 received

07/07/09 INTERVIEW!!!

07/07/09 visa application suspended, needing more documents...ugh!!!

10/07/09 further information couriered back to Embassy

20/7/09 VISA RECEIVED!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on the NOA1. :D Now you're in the greatest part of the entire process: Waiting for someone to take it out of the box they stuffed it in so an officer can look it over. Hope your approval comes fast. :)

cant complain tho....as i know there are many people on here who have been without their loves for much longer.....

I'm Charmarie, 28, from Washington state, and my other half is Benjamin, also 28, from Australia. We've known each other online since 2003 but never believed there was a chance for us to be together realistically, so we kinda just ignored our feelings for one another and remained friends. After a couple of horribly failed relationships on both our sides, we decided we owed it to each other to meet in person and see what happens. Best 6 weeks of our entire lives!! It's amazing when you finally meet the right one for you, how everything really does just "click" like everything is where it belongs. I am praying that CSC gets a move on it, because this waiting to be with him again is driving me insane!!

We debated it for a long time, but I think we've decided to just go ahead and do a JoP when he gets here and wait til early summer for our actual handfasting (we're pagan and planning on a traditional year and a day ceremony). Unfortunately, his family won't be able to come over for the wedding so we expect to have a small party to celebrate it when I go over for his interview. We've talked about maybe doing a renewal of our vows in a few years over there instead. We'll figure something out, I'm sure :)

Look forward to a speedy approval for us all!! :thumbs:

I concur with the hury up CSC sentiment ;-) i guess that is all we can do. We see each other in a cople weeksbut after that she is out of vacation time until they approve our app so i really hope they hurry it up! :-)

Lovely to meet you, Charmarie. :) I think we can certainly all agree that they need to hurry up, lol. It really is fantastic when you are with the one and everything seems to click - It's a wonderful feeling. It's a shame his family won't be able to come to the handfasting ceremony, but hopefully there will be a lot of pictures for them to see. :D Or, who knows, maybe they'll be able to save up enough for a surprise visit.

I just checked my own timeline's projection date and it's changed quite a bit, but not necessarily for the better: "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between March 23, 2009 and April 17, 2009" -- A few weeks ago, we were seeing first or second week of February. Blah. Oh, well. March is still within a 5 month processing time, so I'm not going to let it bother me too much. :) Eventually, we'll be together all the time, so the wait is well worth it.

Besides, he'll be here on Wednesday afternoon for an entire week and I'm too excited for that to worry much about the wait. Though, by this time next week, I'm sure it'll be the only thing I can think about.

Uhhh...check the date on that post....from 2006! The trends in processing times from 2 years ago mean nothing at present time.

On the plus side, there have been a few October filers that have been approved now based on the timeline info from Igor. Looks like some of us are slipping in early :)
