When you register with your case number at the USCIS website there is a modified date along with your case number, if this modified date changes that means your file has been touched. Touch can mean anything, it can mean that someone moved your file from one cabinet to another, it can mean that it has been stored somewhere, scanned.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

Just wondering how everyone's doing...we all have our NOA-1's now, right? Crossing fingers that things move quickly through the holidays!
Doing well. Just letting the time pass by without worrying too terribly much about it. No touches or anything, but I'm not worried as it hasn't been very long yet, and I know that some people have been approved without any touches to their case. Though I'm sure it would be quite exciting to see some sort of action. :D

I noticed I moved down a little on Igor's list - That certainly made me smile. Granted, I'm still in the high 300s, but.. any movement is fantastic to me. :)

The only doom that's looming is you loving me to death,

So I'll give you a sec to catch your breath.

Hello,

Thought I would join in and see how it's going for everyone.

I sent the packet certified mail on September 29. California received it on Oct 1. They sent out the NOA1 on October 3, and I got it Oct 6.

Nothing since, but it has been less than a month.

Don't feel bad about overkill in sending information and evidence. My packet was 193 pages!!!

I'm returning to the Philippines for 3 weeks on Dec 19. Taking my daughter along for the visit. Hoping that worst case that will be the half-way point for processing the paperwork.

Welcome, alocalguy! 193 pages? Wow. And I thought mine was huge. It always makes me happy to hear about people who tend to do that, as I totally did it as well. I know that the officers probably won't think I'm totally crazy, lol. Have lots of fun on your end of the year trip. :D Nothing makes me happier than sharing that new year's kiss with my sweetheart.

Anyway, I was thinking.. since we're still at the beginning of this process and probably won't be hearing any news too terribly soon, I was thinking maybe we could all get to know each other a little bit better.

I'll start -- My name is Nikki, I'm 22 and I live in Northern California. I'm engaged to a wonderful man from The Netherlands named TamTu, who is 24. We've been together 4½ years, with our anniversary in March.. which is around the time VJ estimates we'll hear something from USCIS. I'm excited. :D

I suppose you don't have to share things you don't want to, like names or ages or whatever, but I think it'd be good to get to know everyone, since we're all in this together for the next few months. :)

The only doom that's looming is you loving me to death,

So I'll give you a sec to catch your breath.
