Do keep us updated with regards to the rest of the process. :D I hope you get your medical and interview swiftly.

It seems like everyone has forgotten about our little thread following their approval notices. :( How disheartening.

Anyway, TamTu had his medical appointment on the 28th and everything went smoothly. They took his height, weight and medical history, took blood for the AIDS test and took his x-rays. Even though he recently had a tetanus shot, he had to get another as apart of one of the other tetanus combination shots they give to people [i'm not sure which one it is, as there are two possible types he could have gotten. Sorry!]. All in all, he said everything took about two hours to complete, but in spite of that, it was very easy.

Onto his interview on the 14th. :)

Yeah, they changed, or added a vaccine that is only available in a combination with tetanus. I think Cindy will have to have this same one too, even though she had another tetanus a couple years ago.

Yeah, they changed, or added a vaccine that is only available in a combination with tetanus. I think Cindy will have to have this same one too, even though she had another tetanus a couple years ago.

It has to be "Tdap" which goes by the name Adacel. It has a combination of 3 vaccines in 1 shot. I just got that one a week ago...owwww!

Hi everyone! Just checking in!

We got all of our papers together (took a while to get the last translations and docs mailed from Algeria) and mailed in our " ready for interview" paper - now just waiting for the interview date to be assigned. Hope everyone else is doing well!

I know most of you are far away from your sweetie's still - hang in there - I'm wishing you patience and determination - you're almost there! :thumbs:

Man, that sucks.

The good news is most people seem to max out AP in about 5 weeks, so hopefully you get out of there in the next few days. Keep calling and checking, at least you can talk to a normal person at NVC unlike USCIS.

For us, I'm thinking we should have packet 3 to send back in the next week or so.

i havent forgotten this forum eitherrrr!!! i just have been sooo busy :/

some of you are still stuck on i-129??? jeez. that is just ridiculous in my opinion.

our update is....we finished the i-129f. got approved. my now husband flew in 3-26-09...same day we both moved into our apartment (i didnt stay one night there until he moved here). we got married the 18th of april and went on a weekend honeymoon to myrtle beach, sc. (which was just beautiful except for the horrible sun burns we got in only 70s+ degree weather! im still pealing til this day!!!! so serious. ha

i just finished putting together the AOS today and will send it today too. if anyone ever needs help with this....send a PM to me :)

i told someone to start a UK AOS thread...so if anyone wants to join that one...check my profile and see my posts and i post a lot under the UK AOS thread. Nich-Nick has a lot of awesome information (cover letters, examples)...so again, if you need help, let us know.
