I still dont have an interview date yet, I emailed them and got a reply about it still being reviewed and that I will get an interview date when the review was complete ... its going to be 2 weeks on Monday since they received the package, fricken rediculous IMO! it shouldnt take that long to schedule an appointment date .... So we wait a bit longer

Just got the letter that the National Service Center received our petition and will send it to the consulate in France in the next week! Wow, I was excited to see such quick action.

One question: Is there any chance of it taking longer at the NVC? Like is there a possibility for other security processes or something or is it pretty much automatic that it is forwarded straight to the fiancés country?

We contacted our lawyer (who is actually nice and responsive), but she won't do anything until 6 months hits. I have letters to my senator and congressman written too, just waiting to mail them in 3 weeks.

Yo guys,

Just got the petition approval today ^^ saw the letter when I got home....there was no email update or touches.

I'm more relieved that I finally can go to the next step in the process ^^;;

Ed - I'm praying that you'll get your approval soon !

I figured I would let you know that you are not alone in the NOA2 wait. I am Still waiting. I think mine and yours is sitting on someones desk. My NOA1 date is 10/15/08. A day after yours. I think someone grabed our cases and set them on there desk and forgot about them....hahaha! Ours NOA2 should be coming soon. Every time I look at ignor list and see people getting approved with NOA1s from this year I get PO. But then I remember as long as Aline gets here is all that counts!!! Hope ours come soon!!!!

I do hope your NOA 2's will arrive soon. Just don't look too much on the uscis website imho...I checked it around 4-5 times everyday and it just pissed me off more and then the letter arrived with no update whatsoever on email or on the site. Just think positive !!

Congratulations spikeyflip!! That's great! I know the feeling of starting to give up hope and then BOOM there it is approved! Now things will go so much faster!

For Ed, Aline and Travis still waiting - hang in there... we're all hoping you'll get it soon. And like spikeyflip said, try not to check all the time, just think about other things and the time will pass more quickly...

We just got a message from Rahim's cousin that a letter arrived for him from the US consulat at his address in Paris - so that's great! We are so surprised it is moving so quickly... now we've got to get the next round of papers together...

How is everyone else doing? Did you stop visiting VisaJourney once you got approved?! hope "no news is good news" for the rest of you!
