TIMELINE:

October 6, 2008 - Sent I-129F to CSC

October 7, 2008 - Received at CSC

October 8, 2008 - NOA 1

October 9, 2008 - Check cashed

October 11, 2008 - Received NOA 1 hardcopy

January 14, 2009 - NOA 2 email notification (98 days after NOA1 date)

January 15, 2009 - Touched

January 17, 2009 -Received NOA 2 hardcopy

January 22, 2009 -Received in NVC

January 26, 2009 -Left NVC for U.S. embassy in Manila

January 30, 2009 -Received NVC harcopy letter

February 2, 2009 -Physical file received in USEM Manila

February 5, 2009-Called to set appointment for fiancee's interview

February 19, 20 2009 -Medical Exam at St. Luke's

March 10, 2009 -Interview

Darling, feel blessed that you got an RFE - That means someone was looking at your case, and when you turn in what is requested, you'll get an approval within the next few weeks. <3 Don't sweat it.

Edit to say: It probably won't even take "a few weeks." It could take less than a week, but I would keep the "a few weeks" in mind so you don't go crazy.

I know you are right... I'm really looking forward to knowing what they need. I'll post it when we find out!

Since your lawyer applied for you I think he's the one getting the RFE, but I may be wrong. If that's the case make sure you bug him every day to ask for the RFE so it doesn't go unnoticed in his pile of mail. Good luck! :thumbs:

Hi, I'm an October filer, and just got my NOA2 yesterday. Total of 104 days from the NOA1. I haven't been chatting on this forum, but reading alot of what you guys have written and it's been helpful during the wait period.

I just wanted to say that I was expecting the NOA2 to take months longer than what it has, and so I hope it comes just as quickly for the rest of you who are still waiting. Perhaps January is the month for OCtober filers!!!

Got a touch on the 13th, then another one the 14th... and at 5:30pm PST we got the e-mail saying that the Approval notice was sent.... 86 days after our NOA1 :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:
