A little bit of background:

NVC sent the forms to the Tokyo embassy about 2 months ago. I talked with my congressperson to find out what's going on. Anyway my congressperson found out that my fiancee was finally scheduled for an interview next week, Tuesday the 14th. They said they will have sent the forms and what not detailing what she needs. Anyway she hasn't received anything. I called the visa line yesterday and they did call back and say they have sent out the forms. However it's now Saturday there and she has said nothing has come in the mail.

Also, Monday is a holiday in Japan so no mail that day. My fiancee doesn't live anywhere near Tokyo and would have to leave the day before to get there. My question basically is, should she go to Tokyo? (The embassy did tell my congressperson that she has an interview that Tuesday). Since they said that I'm guessing she could get in to the embassy for the interview? Does she need a letter saying she has an interview to get in?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
