Interesting seeing that the commission that released the report consists of 8 Republicans and 4 Democrats. Nice of those Republicans to go out of their way to prop up the Democrats up and down the ballot in November.

The Straight-Talk Express wants to bring a new kind of politician to Washington.

One about whom a republican-majority investigative commission determined abused authority as governor.

One who took $17000 of per-diem money from her State so she could have the convenience of sleeping in her own bed in her own home rather than at the Governor's mansion. Those poor saps, the real employees of the government of Alaska only get per diem's when their work makes them sleep *away* from their own bed.

One whose sense of security and propriety led her to see nothing wrong in using public email services for State business.

The top of that ticket unquestionably has very questionable judgement to choose such a partner.

Palin as a different kind of politician? Maybe. Usually politicians who are going to go the corrupt way take a few years to get there. Palin got there more or less immediately.

One wonders what will happen to her should she loose the election? Does Alaska have provisions for impeaching corrupt governors?
