My day started out with my SO calling me and telling me that all the paperwork was accepted and he got the announcement for our wedding in Senegal. He also scheduled our wedding, it will be November 4th!

THEN I had to take the written and physical tests for a corrections officer. I wasn't worried about the written but the physical test encompasses push-ups, sit-up and 1.5 mile run - it was the run I was worried about I have been practicing and haven't been able to meet minium requirements. So took the written and pssed with a 97%!! Did more than minimum on push-ups and sit-ups, so then came the run and I KICKED ###!!!! Did almost 2 minutes better than any of my practice times!!!!!!!!! So all that is left is the polygraphy, criminal background check, psychological exam and interview with the commanding officer. PIECE OF CAKE!! The job starts and nearly 4 times what I make now! And the benefits - OMG - excellent!!!!! I am on cloud nine right now!!!

I have 2GB picture card so will have PLENTY of pictures of the entire 3 1/2 weeks I am there - shouldn't be any problem convincing those who need convincing that SO and I are a legitimate couple :)
