Hi all,

Sorry we've been so quiet with updates, but we've been manic busy :help:

We had our interview on 10th May and everything was perfect aside from 2 documents which were needed. So we had to send off for another police letter & the other missing bit of paper.

We received everything we needed & had the courier collect everything on 19th May. The Embassy received the docs on 22nd May.

My dad contacted the congressman in Texas & they emailed the Embassy on Thursday 25th May...not sure if that helped or not but the Visa was approved on 26th May & we received it on the 27th.

SOOO flights are already booked for 30th May (TOMORROW!!) & we'll both be on it!

It of course would have been WORLDS easier if we'd had the needed docs on the 10th, but thankfully it has now been sorted!

Next time I post I'll be HOME! :dance:
