If you look at the top of the page you should see "Guides." Click on it and go to the K1 Visa Guide. There are examples of filled out paperwork there, as well as step-by-step what to do. It will help a lot. If you have any other questions, just ask here.

I just put all the separate bits in plastic sleeves, as soon as it gets to the service centre they put it in their own files

Well I think that is how we sent it I sent everything to my fiance in the sleeves and sent extras for him

Just make sure you follow the guides and example forms and you will be fine

Good luck

For faster expedited service you need to book bind your petition in real corinthian leather....

Damn so that's what I should have done!

I just clipped mine together with a large crocodile clip.

We did not us a folder, I simply 2 hole punched everything and used an ACCO fastener to hold everything together.

Used the VJ guide: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;page=assembly

I just put big paper clips around each section and included a cover sheet. Does it state in the paperwork how it needs to be organized? No, so you wont be approved or denied or approved faster based on how you do it. I would organize it with all the required stuff (like the check!) at the top, but that's about it. It all gets pulled apart and put into their own files anyways. You are just wasting money on expensive filing thingys

Yes, USCIS uses the 2 holes to bind then in their case folders used at the service center.

This is also recomended by USCIS:

In preparing your packet, please take note of the following:
  • Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled.

  • Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.

  • The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.

  • Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.

  • Avoid submitting originals unless specifically required. Avoid submitting oversized documentation when possible.

I used 3 clips to hold everything together. I clipped supporting docs of each case together in the sequence I wrote them on the cover letter. Put it in one envelope and mailed it.

OK, I'LL JUST MAKE SIMPLE BUT ORGANIZE,

2nd question..

I have a US passport do i still need certified copy of my birth certificate?

or just make a notarized copy on all pages of my US passport? colored o black &white?

Notarized for what purpose? If the USCIS wanted a notarized document, it would specifically be requested....

YMMV
