Well I was thinking that it would be fun to do a VJ Canada forum secret santa thing.

How I thought it might work is anyone who is interested could send me their name and address and I would just match them up with their secret santa person randomly.

I'm thinking we could do the match ups say mid November, which gives everyone time to find something and get it mailed.

We could have a dollar amount cap on it of say 10-15 dollars.

Anyway, I was just thinking it might be fun and the only person who would get your information is me and your secret santa.

Sound like fun, anyone interested - does 10-15 dollars seem like a good amount - suggestions?

Count me in too - what a fun idea!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

We do this on another forum I'm on - it's super fun!

Another thing we do is give 3 hints of things we like... for example: chocolate, the colour red and vanilla scents. (Those aren't mine, just an example.

I would like to participate. I'm a sucker for Xmas things!

Count me in too!!!

In Canada we have a ladies Christmas dinner and ornament exchange. Every November or early December all the ladies from our office (past and present) would go out for dinner and exchange Christmas tree ornaments. We would bring them in unmarked brown lunchbags and place them in a basket, and then everyone would choose one. It was so much fun. They still do it. The first Christmas I was gone they took this picture. They still continue to send me an ornament and call me at each get-together. In fact, they sent me home with an ornament last week with instructions not to open it until they call again.

I really miss going out with them. :(

Anyway.... if you want to keep things simple, we could do an ornament exchange also. Just a thought.

omg, that is such a nice picture - they are so nice to send it to you - that must be so hard for you - but so nice too.

I wouldn't mind having a theme, xmas ornaments, or something from your region - or just anything really.
