I didnt get around to making an infopass appointment and still cant even see my case status online! I called them on the 22nd (once 30 days were up) and the letter came as a result of that I believe.

June 20th 2007.....I-129f Sent to CSC!

July 7th 2007....NOA1

November 8th....NOA2

December 8th.....Packet 3 Received (Sent back 10th)

January 8th.....Packet 4 Received

January 16th.....Interview in London

January 20th....Flight to AZ via JFK, received temp EAD

February 29th...Civil Ceremony

March 10th...I485, I765 & I131 sent to Chicago

March 22nd....Received NOA for I485, I131 & I765 (All dated March 18th)

March 24th....Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (dated March 20th)

April 7th...Request for Initial Evidence for I485 (Received in MO on the 10th)

April 9th....Biometrics Appointment

May 30th...EAD Card Production Ordered and AP Approved

June 7th....Wedding!!

June 13th...EAD Card & AP in hand

September 22nd...AOS Interview - APPROVED!

Nov 21st...Card Production Ordered!

Nov 22nd...Welcome to America Letter Received

Nov 29th 2008...Green Card Received!!!

Aug 20th 2010...Mailed I-751 to CSC

well i have an infopass for nov 24th...hopefully it turns up by then but if not i will try and ruffle some feathers at the tucson uscis office before they all take extended breaks for the holidays

So I had my interview yesterday at the same office. The adjudicating officer said she would recommend me for approval and that I'd get my card within 10 to 30 days. Interestingly, my lawyer told me that whatever the AO says wouldn't mean anything. Even if the officer says that they would approve someone it just means that there's no objection from the officer's side. The file will go through the hands of at least one more supervisor who would have to approve it as well and then it has to be entered in the computer system which will finally make sure that every institution has signaled an OK as well. Only then, my lawyer said, the case was indeed approved which will not happen after your interview and you will not know until your card arrived.

Silly enough, I checked my case status online in the afternoon after the interview and saw my i-130 and I-485 were touched and the I-485 showed "card production ordered", which really surprised me that it happened so quickly. Checking back with my lawyer, she said that this should indicate that the case was indeed approved and I should get my card in the next days or weeks.

Let's see if that's true....

In the meanwhile I hope that your delay is just a stupid glitch and you'll get your card soon!

heck no! i live and work on the north side of town and to drive over to the uscis office would be a pain, so just gonna either cancel it or just not show. We got the official "welcome to america" letter today so its all good
