Hi Everyone,

I'm usually on Visa Journey (about 25% of the time), as that pretty much gives me good information and helps me pass the time. Lol...I've been on VJ for almost 2 years now, and it looks like I'll be on VJ for quite awhile longer, as it will be another 10 months for the Removal of Conditions and another 1 year+ for Citizenship afterwards for me. Yup, I'll be around waiting and waiting, and why not wait while I'm here on VJ? Oh well, it's good to know too that others are also on this "immigration waiting boat" too. And yes, everyone around here is friendly and helpful too, which makes me want to stay. As well, VJ tends to be addicting too, so sometimes I stay longer than I should, I admit...lol...

Besides VJ, (the other 75% of the time): We usually click on random fun stuff that we feel interested in at the time. As well, my husband and I check our e-mails and look up other information/resources in terms of our many other life goals together (and yes, there is a lot to cover there..lol...).

By the way, speaking of goals and stuff, does anyone here know of any good websites and/or information as to how to start and run a small home business? Thanks.

Ant (A VJ addict, for many years....)

Some times at work, to break up my work load or on a slow day, I like to visit some websites to pass some time. I like to search the FBI most wanted site (I don't know why!!) as well as "Before you go" Travel Alerts. I like to know what is going on in some of the countries around the world travel wise. I just think it's cool.

What sites, besides your email and facebook, etc. do you visit for good information or to pass the time?

I look at craigslist nearly everyday, and window shop at ebay. I play bridge on line also that keeps the mind from going stagnant.

Those bloody logic problems are hard. That or my brain loses it's ability to function when working random overnight shifts. Probably the latter, but hard none the less.

Start with the easy ones. Then you'll find the hard ones become easier.

I need to bookmark this thread for when I'm bored. lol

Hi Krikit,

I love that wesbite too! Oh how awful it is to have the English language butchered like like that! But then again, it's all in good humour, and you can't really blame them much for getting the language incorrect, especially if it is not their first language of communication.

By the way, if you want to see some "real life" "Engrish", take a trip to Toronto. Believe me, you'll see a lot of "Engrish" there...lol...No wonder there were so many people there who seriously wanted to learn "correct English" there, which is good thing, of course!

Ant

I totally love Engrish.com for a good laugh. For the most part, I find the sayings above and below the pics hysterical.

This site, FB, and big fish games

omg I love bfg! I order a game from them a month!

Nothing makes me happier than a good hidden object game! :D

I flame people here, and I flame people at Expats.

Otherwise, I lurk on MSNBC.com, my message boards, eBay (checking my auctions every few minutes. lol), careerbuilder.com, and a pagan message board or two.

expats is hilarious, I only lurk but ya. I go there every now and then too.

BFG, FTW!!!

I just play the hourly ones!!! Love hidden object and adventure!!!

Yay!! I love BFG too!! We have an account on it- we currently have 3 games we can purchase with our credits but we have no room on our computer to download. Mel's friend installed out new hard drive last night but there is still a problem. sigh.

Unless they have changed, I think Mel and I are still ranked #1 on some of the MCF games!
