Starting Oct 14, all N-400 applications need to be sent to the lockbox facilities that further will forward the paperwork to the National Benefits Ctr in Missouri, which in turn send the documentation to the local USCIS offices. Does anyone know if this would result in faster processing than current one through the Service Centers?

My application is ready to go out today, Oct 10 and with Columbus Day weekend it won't get to Vermont Service Ctr before Oct 14, so arguably I have an option to mail it either to Vermont or to the new Lockbox Facility in Texas. I need to decide which one is preferable.

I thought the new lockbox program was delayed until further notice?
