Hi! My husband called NVC a few days ago and was informed that I am scheduled for an interview on Nov. 21. Now, NVC sent me an email stating that I am scheduled for interview on Nov. 8!!

I was happy that it is an earlier schedule but Nov. 8 is a Saturday... Do they conduct interviews in Manila during Saturdays?

Now, I am confused. I don't know which one is the correct schedule. Haaaay...

But either way, I'm still happy! :)

i dont think the us embassy in manila is open saturdays so they must have gotten the dates mixed up. just call nvc and make sure .

Sasha is correct call the embassy you have the interview with because they will tell you the correct date and time I am sure.

call NVC and confirm the date and time. if possible, insist on having them send another copy of the interview letter...i dont think they fax the letter but its worth a shot. but try to have them mail you another copy to have a confirmation...also make sure u get the ID of the person you speak with..cover all your bases and i am sure you will be fine..good luck for the interview.

USEM don't have schedules on weekends. You can also check USEM website for your schedule and you can print that out. And for CR/IR visa category, they sometimes have the same day date for the medical and interview with the medical being at 1200am and the interviewl usually at 0600am... this is just a mix up but nothing to worry about since applicants can have (and encouraged to have) an early medical exam.
