I would share anything but gum as well. I'd only share the toothbrush if we were somewhere and I forgot mine or something. We are already sharing our "germs" anyways.

I think one time I started to chew a piece of gum and it was the last one so I took it out of my mouth and gave it to Neil and he chewed it

eta: I don't mind drinking after people or eating after them or whatever. A lot of the time we like to order a lot of different things and then just share all of them. We're a very sharing bunch

No gum sharing (especially if it's already been chewed)... I love him but that's just too much for me. Also somebody once told me that one can get caries by using somebody else’s toothbrush if that person has it. So I'm not sharing mine... (He is better off that way )

My mom and her husband won't even share a glass, which is what made me start thinking about it.

We generally don't have any reason to ever share gum, but I know we both would.

We also only have one toothbrush.

we regularly share drinks and eating utensils. i'd share my toothbrush in an emergency but not gum (he doesn't like gum anyway hehe)

Hipocrisy seems like a strange word.... why would I want hubster's old chewed up gum? It's not a germ issue, but a I-tend-not-to-enjoy-anything-that's-been-chewed-up-by-someone-else issue.
