Chicago is oriented along North/South/East/West divisions. By car it would take you about 2 hours to navigate along the North-South Axis along city streets and East to West about 45 minutes.

But yeah it is weird. Cross from Austin neighborhood in Chicago, across a park, and you're in Oak Park, home of I dont'know how many Nobel laureates, astronauts, etc. And yet Oak Park seems to be OK in terms of crime stats, so maybe there isn't that bad of a ghetto thing after all. I suppose its attitude and all. Go through certain areas like you are a b!tch, and you get B!tch Slapped.

It is getting really wacky isn't it? The zaniest accusations that have nil rooting in fact... could it be that the entire lot of them have finally gone mental? We can handle that, and blame ourselves if they get enough votes to win... but seriously... is this something indicative of mental illness? Its pretty pathetic.

With all the domestic surveillance done by cointelpro at the FBI I somehow doubt that they've not received an FOIA request to publicize any links between Ayers and Obama. People that have actual terror-related charges in this country are kept under observation- especially IF they become public figures one way or another such as in education.
