Does anyone know if I need my actual original 1040 and W2 forms that I sent to the IRS? I have copies which I am bringing but I read in a thread somewhere that someone said to bring the originals.

Also, I'm hearing all this talk about these DS...forms. Are these the forms sent to my fiance' (beneficiary) in packets 3 and 4?

Interview is coming up in a few days and I'm getting nervous...

You don't need em, don't worry. Transcripts, which can be obtained free are fine as well. You can bring the originals if you have them, but the transcripts or copies will be just fine. All the best, M.

PS..you should bring originals of most other things...divorce degrees, marriage certs, etc...but they likely won't even want to see them; it's a precautionary measure to take in case they are 'bad' copies and can't be read,etc.
