• Remain calm! Do not panic.
• Avoid areas of civil unrest if possible. If caught in civil unrest take appropriate action.
• Get informed and stay informed. Understand martial law can be a temporary crisis or an extended one. In extreme cases the shape of a whole nation can change.
• Declaration of martial law means your rights are suspended and it is government by decree. Your constitutional rights may no longer apply. This could mean a state of National Emergency.
• People can be arrested and imprisoned indefinitely without charges.
• Freedom of speech and freedom of assembly can be suspended, and censorship of the media imposed.
• Gun ownership will also come under severe attack during marital law. We could see house to house searches by the military or National Guard looking for guns and seizing any they find along with stored food.
• Take a stand on issues and make a choice that fits your beliefs and the situation. Do you believe as Patrick Henry, "Give me liberty or give me death?" Realize you may have some hard choices to make. Understand you may have to sacrifice your principles on trivial matters or take a hard stand. Always remember that you may have to come back and fight another day.

So you don't believe every conspiracy theory out there but you're hard-core into this stuff. Maybe you can educate posters with this type of hype. . .

Conspiracy theories involve little to no evidence, and a clear intent for something to be true. This is just as easily spotted as those who want to believe in bigfoot, or aliens visting us, or that 9/11 was done by George Bush.

However, sites like this were actually on the front lines in Iraq, reporting the napalm used in Fallujah, reporting abuses at Abu Ghirab, reporting the bullet-laden food soldiers had to eat, and the $30,000 toilets KBR/Halliburton was charging taxpayers in this lame sh!t called the "war on terror". People like this site were called conspiracy theorists and anti-American when they said Bush lied about Iraq, along with people like George Galloway, and in every case they turned out right. All except the conspiracy theories which are easy to debunk and are more like op-eds anyways.

i have always been taught by my old man and mother, who were youngsters during the great depression that another one would come one day..and make certain i had allot of weapons and knew where the local LDS churches and homes were..excellent advice...
