Bush Administration planning martial law before elections if economy worsens

WMR has learned from knowledgeable Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) sources that the Bush administration is putting the final touches on a plan that would see martial law declared in the United States with various scenarios anticipated as triggers. The triggers include a continuing economic collapse with massive social unrest, bank closures resulting in violence against financial institutions.

On April 3, 2008, WMR reported on a highly-classified document regarding the martial law scenario:

WMR has learned from knowledgeable sources within the US financial community that an alarming confidential and limited distribution document is circulating among senior members of Congress and their senior staff members that is warning of a bleak future for the United States if it does not quickly get its financial house in order. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is among those who have reportedly read the document.

The document is being called the "C & R" document because it reportedly states that if the United States defaults on loans and debt underwriting from China, Japan, and Russia, all of which are propping up the United States government financially, and the United States unilaterally cancels the debts, America can expect a war that will have disastrous results for the United States and the world. "Conflict" is the "C word" in the document.

The other scenario is that the federal government will be forced to drastically raise taxes in order to pay off debts to foreign countries to the point that the American people will react with a popular revolution against the government. "Revolution" is the document’s "R word.

There will be no war between the super powers. It's obvious from the domino effect we've seen in recent days that we truly have a world economy. Destruction of any key financial nation by another would be economically suicidal.

There will be no revolution. The American people have had so many freedoms stripped away since 9-11, if the sheep were going to revolt it would have already happened. Americans would much rather be kept 'safe' by increasing socialism. Our government just confirmed that by taking over $700,000,000 worth of what was previously the private sector, (the most socialistic move in the history of America).

Have to agree and notice that both parties fed at the table. Also noticed it has so far not helped wall street but they are saying they need to hurry up and do the bail out.

Historically throwing this much money into the economy has always deepened the recession or depression and started a inflationary spiral.

If your suggestion is corporate socialism, I agree. Entirely contrary to what we're preached about regarding free markets and capitalism. Government intervention to help corporations, especially in a fawning and sycophant-like manner, only destroys the country's aim at rights for the people, first and foremost, and turns this country into an oligopolistic oligarchy rather than the sh!t we hear about Republic and Democracy.

But people also said Bush was planning martial law for the 2004 elections, so.. eyes are open, but there's not much to these conspiracy theories to make me believe it. Remember, for years I've been reading GNN's site. While they have a lot of useful insight, they do often perpetuate crazy rumors like this, which end up being like the countless prophecies and basically untrue, until the next prediction.

So we expect international pirates to loot the U.S. for booty? How else do foreign powers expect to get their money back?

Americans won't pay onerous taxes especially for foreign interests. A lot of Americans don't even pay off their debts now so the government won't be able to collect taxes. People cheating on their taxes will soar long before you see a civil war.
