Sorry to hear about the RFE. I know you've been waiting a long time already, but at least they have looked at it.

Anyone out there seen anything that indicates that it would hurt thier case to send the stuff they have from Dec? I don't see how it could, but I'm not a government bean counter.

Well if they need more proof that they met the requirements of meeting within the 2 year period before sending the original packet, then it would have to be pictures from a visit prior to their NOA1 date. Now the other stuff will definitely help them come interview time to show proof of an ongoing relationship.

I'm sure you will be fine, Shanira. Did you already send the stuff back out? It sounded like it on one of your comments - if so, way to go! If not, I'm sure you will get it out in the next couple of days. Did they need him to have a new passport already or just to apply for a new one?

It's just odd because they asked to see his proof of citizenship, his naturalization (not sure of its spelled right) and he did provide it in the start.. they also needed to get 2 photos of him, which we also provided.. and my passport which we also provided lol..

So now he will have to take new photos of him, and provide it all again.

And even more odd!! They wanted us to send proof that we are still in contact after the meeting :s So we are sending them screenshots of our skype log, and our emails and a few letters that i sended to him.. I thought that belonged the the interview state, but luckely i have it all saved!

But hopefully my fiance will get the photos taken by tomorrow, so we will hopefully send it all off by tomorrow with fedex and make sure it will arriave fast and safely :)

I just find it odd that they request things that they already have received once. Thanks all for reading and responding its nice to log back in and see some responses :)

Btw I totally forgot to add that nothing is that bad that it isnt good for anything.. We can now view our case online, thats a step forward :D

That is strange - not sure why they are asking for relationship proof now, but it's good that you have everything saved! Hope it goes smooth for you and  for now being able to check case status online. Of course, don't depend on it too much because mine still says "Case received and pending" and my NOA2 was issued 18 days ago!

Is there anyone with the 2nd NOA received on March who knows if their case reached London Consulate already?

As for Shanira I am sorry about the RFE, I suggest that you send the proof that you have from December as they want a proof for the ''ongoing'' relationship. But again...it's just my opinion. All the best Shanira.

My family emailed me a copy of a letter from the Bureau of Consular Affairs stating that the NVC had sent out my case and it should reach the embassy with in a week. It included both case #s and what looks like a bar code. I don't know if they received the NOA2 or not...I will ask. Any one else get a letter like this?

Haven't seen a hardcopy yet as it is being forwarded to Tom's forwarding address at Maxwell AFB via Bahrain (argh). He doesn't get there until next week and the letter from NVC maybe waiting there too. We haven't been able to ring NVC, I did email them though but no reply.

Yea, this is the letter (I thought) from NVC - I got it last week sometime. That's kinda weird they haven't got the NOA2 yet, you will need it for AOS.
