Has anyone else noticed that their adjudication date on their timeline is slowly being pushed back a day at a time? When we filed it was 5-20 Feb 09. Now it's 12-26 Feb 09.

I noticed that too. The math geek in me decided to run some numbers using various datasets that I pulled from the timeline searches. I come up with 10 days more than listed adjudication date on average so it must be correcting itself as they age.

Not sure if it's happening with everyones or just the UK ones. Makes sense for it to adjust itself if petitions are taking longer.

Hello to fellow October filers!

I was wondering if I have to look everyday for touches or if USCIS will send me e-mail updates, Or if I can check once a weeke and will see if something has been done? I wonder if each touches can be seen or if they eliminate themselves when a new touch is done....

Hope I'm clear! LOL I know it's very technical question but I was just wondering.

Beans ---> I'm sorry to know that your cheque still hasn't been cashed....it's been a long while now. Maybe you other half should try and contact VSC to see what's going on as I don't think us foreigners can call them! Keep up poted and I will continue to hope that it's cashed ASAP.

They will only email you if your status changes, for example if they send an RFE, transfer your case to another service centre or approve you. I'm afraid you'll have to keep logging on to see touches!

That is correct ruby_mtl. Definitely just tried calling any inquiry numbers on the website and my 204 area code is not welcome lol. When Jeremy gets his bum out of bed, he best believe he's calling asap.

One of the first things I did when I found my EAC# was register our email for updates from USCIS - but I have not seen any confirmation email from them. I even tried the 'forgot user name' route to force an email to my account and still nothing. Oh, and yes - I checked my spam filter too ;-)

Wonder why.

As Laura+Tom said earlier, it's only going to be for the major notices e.g. RFE or status changes. However some who have been issued K-1 already have commented that even after receiving an NOA2, they never got an email.

ruby_mtl: Although you could check daily and/or weekly for each touch, it is not so informative. It does indicate that someone has 'touched' or, in other words, physically opened or moved your petition, but that hardly indicates adjudication or faster processing.

From looking over timelines, it appears as though many petitions that currently are receiving NOA2 had filed approximately 4 to 5 months ago. Any others who filed before 5 and are just receiving NOA2 almost always had received an RFE (which is shown in timelines).

Perhaps in about 4 months from now, I'll check back at the USCIS website (ok, maybe 3 months :D ) however I already know that my case is not likely to be seen until then and the watched pot just doesn't seem to boil for me!

The third box from the left says "Last Updated" the date indicated there is the last time it was touched. I figure that mine likely was touched as it was being put into the system, and now it will likely sit quietly for several months.

Thanks, that's good to know. I didn't even pay attention to that box. What would we do without all the knowledge that is on this site?!

Good luck to everyone as we play this waiting game.
