I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance(e) K-1/K-2 - Not yet married - fiance and/or dependent child May 12, 2008

I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance(e) K-3/K-4 - Already married - spouse and/or dependent child May 12, 2008

Did anyone notice this today? I check for fun now even though I know it means nothing.

It seems we have two types of workers in the Vermont office.

The Tease  ...lots of touches. Which leaves you wondering what is happening

The Ninja  ...nothing and then Bam! There it is your approval in your face, no warning, after waiting months.

I think I will get the Ninja treatment. Just a feeling.

 How do you get those extra smileys that are not on the given list anyway??

edit b/c I spelled smileys wrong haha

LOL yea, I can't logon to USCIS anymore so I have to use my fiance's logon, but when I reset my password they still send it to my email. Soooo...I keep checking USCIS, then my email, then his email...I'm really driving myself crazy! I was hoping for something this morning because I notice a lot of people update their timelines the day after the date of their NOA2 butno such luck for us today :crying:

Maybe there will be more updates Monday. I wonder why we got "touched" and then nothing...my fear is now that we won't hear anything for a couple months waaaaaaaah

It's probably that the person who looked at your case doesn't work at weekends.

Does anyone know when the FBI check is done? Is it when they first receive our case or could it be what these touches are? Apparently they send off a bunch to be done and they are turned round in about 48 hours.

That's an interesting thought, I had never thought about that before. But that doesn't explain all who get approved with no touches....

Laura that is such a great attitude!!

I am finally back in the states, and catching up on all of Oct filers reading. Congrats to everyone that has been approved.

I'm ready to be approved as well but since I lost my job a few weeks ago I hope it doesn't get approved too quickly. I need time to find another job so I can support my man!!

Welcome back and sorry to hear about your job! From what I have read here on VJ it seems like as long as you can get a letter from the boss stating how much you make currently (at the time that you fill out the affidavit of support) then you will be fine. Best wishes in your job search!

And yes, Laura, great attitude! I wish I was that positive

Yeah but I don't have to fill that out until he needs it. And since he doesn't need it until he goes for his interview. I will need a more current letter than one dated Feb. RIGHT?????

So there has been a little moment on the list. One on the 20th and another on the 19th which is an Oct filer. The randomness is making this very exciting. I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I hope for good news for all the touches next week and more approvals.

Me too. It would be a bonus if we were approved whilst Tom was here. He arrives on Wednesday and I'm so excited! A litttle nervous too.
