Well a touch doesn't give you a time but I had been checking all day and it didn't change til around 4 pm EST but it may have been an hour or two before that.

We're all coming down the wire...of this step, at least!

HI everyone...I am a new member and have been ''watching'' you for a while waiting for the big news to share with you ....It didn't come yet but since there is something that you guys know I decided to come and ask :'' How do you know that your case had been touched?''

My timeline is the same with Laura+Tom and the same country as well...I just read that she got a ''touch'' and i am curious to know where you guys are able to see that?

I would really appreciate an explanation.....like for the beginners(hahaha) ...thank you all and good luck everyone!!!

you want to go to the uscis.gov site and click on "case processing online" after that read the bottoms and it asks you to create a profile, create it, with your e-mail put your case number on the portfolio and voila!

No, I just logged on and the "Last Updated" date changed...then I clicked on the actual case number but nothing has changed there, it still says "Case received and pending." I asked that question one time and they said you do not get an email for soft touches, as I didn't. You might want to check, although it still isn't approved!

I'm in shock! We were #175 on Igors list this morning. I thought I had another two months to sit it out. I can't even think straight now - what's next?! haha. Need to go back and read the Guides some more now.

At the same time I feel bad because so many October filers still waiting. But maybe this is a sign things will start moving quickly for October'ers!
