the past 2 days have been slow...I'm not liking it!

So much for being patient! I know USCIS diesn't only have us VJ people to deal with but still....I want to see more movement! I get so excited when I see one of us getting approved :):)

Me too! It's good seeing at least a few approved in these last couple of days but they are Aug/Sept and it made me feel like it was closer when they approved a couple Oct 1sters. It's like that old game when you are looking for something hidden and the person who knows where it is says:

Hot! hotter! really hot! oh now you're getting colder! ouch! now you're just freezing!

That's how this week has been  But I guess we are in the "very warm" stage...

And don't forget this page:

http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/stats.aspx

CSC has approved 0 petitions this week at VSC 9...

We're right on target folks. More Oct. this week as well as this coming week. It's been moving relatively incrementally. Still on the first of October.

How's the document collection been coming? I am just about ready to send all to my fiancee. An original of NOA2 is not needed for the interview, correct?

WHOA!!! What all have you compiled? Have you already gotten all the info for the I-129F and everything? My boss knows I have applied for a visa but I'm sure he doesn't (as I didn't before I started this process) what all is involved so I have yet to ask him for the letter. I have a feeling I can just email him the template and he'll fill it out and print it on letterhead. I may even be able to print it myself and just get him to sign it...we'll see.

Question: Do I have to send my original Birth Certificate and Divorce decree to my fiance for his interview? Well I wouldn't send them through the mail, it's too insecure, but I will take them when I go in April...I'm hoping for NOA2 by then, I know there will be plenty of time before the interview. Thanks!

Document collection for the interview??... my fiance (australian) and I just found out that the medical exam and police records needed for the interview are good for one year, so we plan on doing that ASAP... two more things ready to go...

I am interested though, what documents? proof of relationship?

Is that different per country? Because I thought it was 6 months. Also, do you already have the list of approved doctors for the medical??? Just want to make sure you and your fiance don't lose your time/money if it's not going to help you in the long run.

Some police certificates are valid for a year for immigration purposes even though they say 6mths on them. That's the case with the UK ones. I'm going to send for mine when I get my NOA2 as they only take about 10 days. I'm also going to make an appointment with the nurse to get a copy of my vaccination records and see if I need any boosters.

I'm collecting all the affidavit stuff from Tom when I visit him in April and I already have evidence piling up to prove that have an ongoing relationship. Stuff like emails, chat logs, invoices to show I've sent him stuff etc. I've also downloaded all the forms for the interview so I know what information I need to complete them. As you can probably tell I aim to send everything I need to as soon as I get packet 3.

With our medical we can only use one place in London so I'll book that about a week before my interview.

And Beans, you are always welcome here!

The documents I am collecting also are phone logs, used envelopes and any other proof of ongoing relationship. She has already gotten the certificate that confirms she is single (needed for Thailand), and she is preparing to get the police certificate and medical.

Our intention is to have nearly everything ready for Packet 3, so when it arrives from the Consulate, we can send back immediately. On average it's a month from then till the interview, and we really wish to have the visa by May.

I have a feeling we'll only see a couple of petitions approved today. Perhaps next week the pace shall pick up.
