i'm 177 from the list you guys are looking at but i'd rather go for the old igor's list coz my number is lower there hahah i think 156.

i will also continue posting here until i get my visa or even during until i get my green card. this forum helped me a lot and in return posting my current status and journey would help the new members on their visa process also just as it helped all of us.

I know I already answered this question but I wanted to add that I will probably also continue posting until Green Card time, maybe even checking back every now and then to answer questions. It is really helpful that some of the people have experience and still check back and help those who are now going through the process. Also there will be the time in between the Visa and the EAD, AP, AOS when I will need information about SS#, Driver's License, etc., and all about him moving here and settling in! I'm so excited about actually starting our lives together...finally!!!!

Sometimes they grab your file (TOUCH) then they check for items like run your name through a database or sometimes if its the end of the day they continue the next. They come in the nextday they grab it again (TOUCH 2) then if all is well BAAAAAAM - APPROVED!

For me I went 4 months no touch then a touch, 15 minutes later approved.

It really depends because every case is different. We had one user in the August thread, she got a touch and she was all pumped up and only to end up with an RFE. So it can go both ways.
