So...what is everyone's guess for the time between NVC and your interviews? There is only a handful of people on here coming from Sweden..so it's hard for us to gauge. I know it is speculation at this point....any thoughts?

I was going to tell you to check out Embassy Info at the top of the page, but nobody has filled out any info on the Sweden embassy yet. It depends on the country...Guatemala does not send out a package 3, so we're hoping on 2-3 weeks max at NVC, then a package within a week or two from the USEm to Josue with the interview date and everything all at once. The Embassy link for Guatemala says avg. 1.5 months between them receiving the app to interview date. If everything goes as planned, we'll:

have NOA2 by mid-March

NVC in and out by end of March

have interview date/package 4 by mid-April (hopefully while I'm there during the 9th and 19th, or even before would be best so I know exactly what to bring to him)

have interview in mid-May, beginning of June

If the interview is in late June or July then I will be there for it, I'll go down, give him baggage allowance, spend a little time with his family, etc. (I am a teacher) but if it's in May or early June I'll just pick him up from the airport and save on airfare!!!! Getting so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

I know we will. We've studied the data so closely that continuing to fill in our timeline will further help the next couple down the road.

I will. This site and other peoples timelines have helped me so much. The least I can do is return the favour.

And I finally broke into the 100's lol. 199!

Yeah I will continue updating as well for the ones after us!

As for the embassy (well consulate in Montreal), some say it's between 4-6months...way too long!!!! but luckily, most get after 2-3months. You know how they sometimes give a longer waiting time just to cover their butts!

i'm 177 from the list you guys are looking at but i'd rather go for the old igor's list coz my number is lower there hahah i think 156.

i will also continue posting here until i get my visa or even during until i get my green card. this forum helped me a lot and in return posting my current status and journey would help the new members on their visa process also just as it helped all of us.

The call centres don't have access to the cases so they can never tell you very much. I think sometimes you can be referred to a supervisor who knows a little bit more.

My sweetie is Russian, so this goes to the Russian consulate. How long after NOA2 is it typically for VISA, assuming interview goes well? I am starting to put some wedding plans in motion.

Well the guy was able to access my case and gave me the details on it... but he gave me the same information that was online when I log on so not much help like I said... I guess we just gotta sit back and wait...

Oh great!! Congratulations.. I see you are an Oct filer and you already got your NOA2!!! Hopefully you'll have your Visa soon... the process from now on takes a couple of months, about 2... but may take longer, I suggest you go to the timelines and do a search of all the Russian timelines.. it should give you a rough approximation!

You could try filtering the timelines for Russia to see how long people have waited. Or you could ask in the Russian forum, they will probably know the current waiting times.
