Hope so, I'm getting bugged alot to when the wedding is. Argh!

I hear You ... I get constantly bugged " Hows your K1 VISA " ... " When is Anya coming to the States " .... RRRRrrrr  " whats the hold up " .. guess its part of the process

Anyway .... We had a BEAUTIFUL Wedding Celebration in Tashkent , UZ back on 17 August 2008 - thou it was not official in any sense due to all the UZ Govt issues to overcome ... We are so glad we did this because even thou it is not offical We FEEL and ARE " Wife and Husband !! "

Like everyone else We will do the Legal Court THING here in the US / NJ as soon as Anya can come over on the K1... We are planning a Celebration on the same date but this Year 17 August 2009 here in NJ or NY... We are hoping this is a " realistic " time frame ???

BTW ... GREAT NEWS " I got My PI-Visa to go to UZ " ... It only took (3) three Months... " GOVERNMENTS " Got My flight together and told work so I Will be leaving on 05 Feb 2009 and will spend (2) Two Weeks together... (L) Thank God We have not been together since 28 August 2009 ... B) It will be great to be together again especiallyfor V-Day and our (6) Six Month Anniversary :D

Well here's to VSC keep pumping out the NAO2's !! " Pojulista "

That's great news! I haven't seen Tom for six months either and only have to wait 23 days till I see him again. That's if they don't extend him again. He was supposed to arrive on the 14th February but the powers that be extended him for 11 more days.

It's fast approaching six months since my fiancee and myself have been together. It'll be at least 11 months by the time we're together again. We shall have spent over half of our relationship, five years total, apart from each other. Long-distance relationships certainly have their own merits and challenges, which we've come to know. My father jokes "Waiting is the easy part. Wait until you're together, then the real challenges shall begin."

Well that may be true but I'm ready for some new challenges! It seems like everytime we get into any kind of argument it's because we're trying to contemplate our life together and we say "What would you do if...." which leads to some disagreement which really doesn't help because we're not together to see what we would really do in that case anyway! It's really frustrating too because when one does get down about being apart, the other is not there to hold them, reassure them by showing their love, and that's the hard part! Either way, hoping for some movement in the next month! I'm checking this forum a couple times a day to see if any of our Oct friends have gotten their NOA2. Hopefully soon!

The good news is that we are seeing movement right now. With August at almost 70% acceptance and September fast approaching 50%, you better believe we'll be seeing some October's soon!

that makes me smile!! where did you get this number from??

I am sure we are all waiting anxiously, I haven't seen my love in over a year now! it's difficult but so worth it! :D

QUESTION: Is it safe to say that the Vermont service center is moving faster now??? I've seen lots of approval from them lately, am I wrong?

There could be an October filer approved by expedite. There have also been recently people who claim they were approved in less than 100 days. Without some compelling evidence, I am not apt to believe them: Like anywhere, there are dishonest folk here too.

As of now, no regular October 2008 VSC filers have received NOA2.
