How is everybody doing?, here I'm a September filer at VSC, it's been a long waiting period and hopefully approvals start showing up on this thread, I filed on sept 13 and so far nothing, and yes is it's fustrating to see CSC approvals going fast, all we can do is wait and wait....this time around it's been more difficult for me, but like they say "GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO WAIT", so lets just keep our hopes up and really start getting inform of what comes next....

Good luck to everyone

i was just thinking maybe there are just a lot of VJ members from csc and those people who recently got approvals from vsc are not members of VJ thats why we think that vsc is slow but actually not. just keeping my hopes up. we should all think positively. i hope this coming week more october approvals from vsc.

Hi Everyone:

I have a question for those of you who are using a co-sponsor for the I-134. I have read through old posts and the example form here on VJ...but can't find a direct answer.

Regarding Q #11..the example form uses "N/A (K1 visa process for permanent residence)" as the suggested answer and left the preceding box unchecked.

However, in some posts, petitioners have checked "I do intend" and listed specific contributions.

In addition, should the sponsor's answer mirror the co-sponsor's answer?

Any advice is appreciated :D

Thanks!

I think Tom is going to do as the example form does. That also seems to be the general feeling in the UK forum. He's only going to support me until we are married and I have a job and then we'll be supporting each other as such.

Because the I-134 is used for a multitude of other visas as well as the K1, I think specific contributions are only really needed when, for example, the person is applying for a work related visa such as an au pair.

Hey guys.

I am also an October Filer. I sent mine in on the 26th of September 2008, my check was cashed on October 1, NOA1 came on October 3 in the mail. My Case status notes October 1 as the last day anything was "touched." It is now mid January and I am a bit concerned something is wrong. My I-129F/K1 hasn't been touched since that initial NOA. I sent this to the Vermont Service Center.

I miss my sweetie pie soooo mucchh. We talk nightly of course, but we really want to be together soon. Because of my work situation I can't make another trip over to Russia to see her soon, bossman won't give me time off. How much longer can I expect to wait for my sweetie to come here?

Thanks,

-Richard

Sorry Richard but expect to wait a bit longer. Vermont are pretty slow at the moment. However you can keep up with the approvals as they happen here. They are still half way through August filers.

If you look at your timeline there is an estimate approval date, however it's best to take these dates with a pinch of salt as they are based upon people updating their VJ timelines.

BTW I just checked your timeline, is your NOA1 date correct? Should it say October instead of January. Your estimated approval date is based on the date you received your NOA1 so if this is not correct your estimated approval date will be well off.

Yeah I know how you feel. I haven't seen Tom in 6 months, and the last month or so has been the worst, mainly due to Christmas and New Year. Luckily I'm seeing him in February but it can't come quick enough! We are all in the same boat together, but like it says in my siggy, a few months apart is worth it when you'll have forever together.
