Thank you Laura. I've been looking for that chart ever since Ewok debuted it.

It also looks more accurate than IGOR, as I am 328 on it but only 318 on this page (Seems like the duplicate entries have been removed)..

Hello fellow October 08 filers for the K-1 petition!!

I got approved through the CSC on the 8/9th. They said they mailed my approval through the mail on the 8th and they said I was approved on the 9th. Nonetheless, its still a approval. I sent out the petition on October 17th.

In the end, our petition took 83 days for approval from the sent date and approx. 73 days from the NOA1. About 4/5 other people got approved also from the CSC for October. So hopefully more people start getting approved from October!

Good luck to all!!!

I know I am excited and frustrated at the same time. When I first submitted it was VSC that was processing faster than CSC and now Vermont is sooooo behind. But I am so happy for those who received approval in 3 months. How exciting! But its not Vermont :( Have they even updated the projected processing times since Nov?

Hello,

I am so happy to find this thread. I filed my I-129f in Mid-October. I have been watching the processing times closely. There has been no change on the USCIS site for months. I talked to the office last week and they told me that they are very behind and that there is an additional 220 days added on to the original waiting period. I actually cried :crying: on the phone with the agent. He was nice but did not offer any advice but said to call in April. I have found the advice on this forum to be more encouraging. From what I understand the processing times change drastically and sometimes quickly. I hope this is true. I will post what I find out and I hope to see more here later.

Thanks!

I think we just have to take it as it comes. We'll be approved when we are approved. As long as I receive my visa before October, I'll be happy.

I am going to ask some stupid questions just to make sure I am on track. So far the only piece of paper I have from Vermont is a I-797C, Notice of Action. I filed all the papers along with the I-129F petition. Is there anything else I should be doing, besides waiting? I see some people have filed a I-130 along with the I-129F...I did not do this. I have read the guides but I am going to read them again right now. I plan on sending more information in because I am now living with my Fiance in Nicaragua for a months while we wait. I figure this can only help prove our relationship.

First things first, you should fill in your timeline. This will give you an esimated approval date. What visa are you hoping to get? If it's a K1 then you only need to file the I-129F.
