Yay! Weddings!!

We will also pay everything half-half...no one offred to help yet, but I PRAY that someone speaks up!! LOLOLOL

as for wedding bands we are both very simple people so we will probably both get simple gold bands. I'm thinking of having his name engarved in mine with the date and vise versa...is that corny?it seems like a great i dea when i think about it, but now that i wrote it down, it looks a little corny....LOL

we also want something small with close family and friends...i'm hoping for 50-60 people

Wow, our ceremony is practically tiny then lol. Only about 12 people and some of those will be base personnel as its expected that you invite the base commander. The reception will be bigger though. About 30 lol.

I wish we could do it that small....impossible...Dex even told me "ain't no way it can be that small you know that right?" yikes!! lol

We shall probably have less than a dozen people in attendance, as none of her family shall be attending, and besides my immediate relatives, I am not expecting anyone else. The ceremony in Thailand shall be the big wedding with the entire village in attendance.

I like the idea of engraving something special inside the wedding bands, whether it's each other's names or another significant phrase.

i love weddings and as early as now i'm trying to plan my wedding. Filipino weddings are usually big i already tried listing down my close relatives from my dad and mom side and really close friends total of 150 pax already and since my fiance said to count in 50 pax for him coz most of his relatives will be from usa and not everyone could afford to fly to the philippines. i told my fiance to try to save up money about $20,000 for our wedding...i know it is hard to save up that much but i told him he needs to try.

i'm doing a black and white with silver wedding motif and i want all the flowers to be bright pink. i will also ask all the bridesmaid and guests to wear black and for the guys a barong tagalog (a filipino traditional long sleeves) and i will be the only person wearing a white dress. i told you i was excited already even if my church wedding will be on october 23,2010. i already made reservations for the church and the events area but is not final yet coz i was thinking also of doing it in the renaissance hotel or shangrila hotel in manila.

Johan and I have matching phrases that are meaningful to us engraved in our engagement rings plus each other's names. I don't think it is corny, no way!

Honestly, don't expect that because you'll end up frustrated and disappointed. December will be processing August filers mostly.. but hey, stranger things have happened! You might get lucky.
