It's been one month already. Time flies! If the estimate of about four months holds true, it's already 25%! This is easy. When you've been separated from your loved one for years, months aren't bad at all. As well, I've been assembling to together Packet 3 documents, so I am glad we've got some more time to get it ready.

All the best to all,

Pete

Has it been ONLY a month? LOL Wish time would fly a bit faster though! :clock: I'm hoping for 4 months but it sure seems like a long time. In fact, all I want for Christmas is a NOA2 :D

I haven't started assembling the packet 3 documents yet but have a list of everything I need to do. I plan on starting to assemble them in Dec as I am heading to the UK for Christmas/New Years. I'll give the copied original petition package and all the required packet 3 documents to my fiancee then. She will be ordering her police certificate in the next week since its good for a year there.

Brilliant! It's perfect timing to bring everything over in December. My only concern would be the noterized I-134 Affidavit of Support and supporting document (such as paystubs and employer letter), along with your 2008 taxes and W-2s. Come to think of it though, if you take over the copied I-129f along with all the other evidence you have acculumated to date, it will certainly make the package that you send with I-134 much lighter.

Yes, a fine plan indeed.

Popping in to see how the October Filers are doing.

Congrats on all the NOA1s... just remember, a few months of waiting and then you'll be busy preparing for the big interview and move! Some could call the preperation exciting..

I've been really bad lately with being prepared for the next step. I did want to send off for my police certificate but it asks for more passport photos that need signing and I also have to travel to another town to get my vaccine information. We spent so long getting the petition ready and making sure everything is ready that I can't be bothered to do any more paperwork! But it's what we have to do.. this week, I will accomplish!!

Good luck!

I am also starting to get documents for the next packet and started with my fingerprints in the local police station here in the philippines for my state of maryland police clearance. just sent it thru fed ex last week and hopefully i would get my maryland police certificate before january and that they would accept what i sent them and will give me a police certificate. I am really praying that I get my NOA2 before the end of december but it seems like i need a miracle for that!

anyone of you guys had new touches lately after getting the NOA1??

it seems that igors list is moving fast i saw my name 318 yesterday and now it has gone to 281 i hope this is for real....

I'm sending off for my police certificate just after Christmas. Luckily I don't have to worry about finding someone to sign the photo as I work with civil servants. My doctor refused so sign the last one I needed doing as apparently he didn't know me well enough!

Tom will probably start completing the I-134 stuff after Christmas too so he can bring it over when he comes over in February. Only problem is he will be starting at a new base in Feb but I assume the employers letter will be good enough from the old base since he is still with the USAF?

And Kaye, no touches here, but it's nice to know we are about 25% of the way through.

Hello October filers. Sept filer here. I was just reading through this thread - wow, you guys are a noisy bunch. LOL. Glad to see spirits are good. Hang in there.

A few things I noticed - there is a abbynorm1 and and abbynorm2 posted on this thread. Is this a popular name? It is funny to me because I had a pinoy friend in japan whose name was Abby, and I used to call her abbynormal - because . . . well, because she was abnomal  - but a great friend. I miss her. Neither of you happened to have lived in japan did you?

Beans, Really sorry for you :crying: . You started this thread but they lost your application - that SUCKS! if your going to refile in late November, by the time they get your application, maybe you can start a December thread too. :)

For what it is worth, I sent a cashiers check with my application and sent the application next day mail. I think I sent it on Sept 3rd, they have it as 9/5 received date and 9/8 NOA 1 date. Maybe I am just lucky.

Best of luck to all of you.

They are having system problems today. I have been trying to call them all day and the system is down. Last time I called, they couldnt even tell me that they had recieved my I129F on 9/5/08 - Which actually made me happy - I am so sick of hearing them repeat the same information I already know. :bonk:
