I just dropping by to say hello to my 1st family!

All is well here...packet 3 is at the consulate and I'll be waiting for my interview. Seems that things are picking up so we're planning a mid-August move, July interview! The forms for me were weird to fill out because of the kids...anyone else with dual citizen children??

Well congrats to all the newlyweds, new home owners, and all of you who have great things happening. Laura, I hope your life will be bright and you'lll find love again. Enjoy your new appartment!! :) Should I say flat? ;)

Take care all!

Congrats on returning packet 3 Julie... now is the waiting time indeed :reading::clock::pop:

Its so wonderful to see so many newly weds, approvals and things! Hope everyone is well.

Hello October family. I just want to let you all know that WE WERE APPROVED!!! The interview was very simple they only asked my SO 3 questions: When we met, where we met and when was the last time I visited him she was sold when he told her VALENTINES DAY. She didnt ask me any ?'s. All that stress and nerve wracking for nothing.

Good luck to all waiting on interview dates.

Hey everyone just popping in to say hello...life has become considerably hectic for me after finding out we had our approval from Vermont roughly 2 1/2 weeks ago...been busy sending off police certificates to Germany, Cyprus and UK of course...Good job we are in no rush for the interview cause Cyprus have told me it will take 2 months for the return of my police certificate...good grief...apparentley it takes a month for the payment to clear, whatever???? Hoping to get a july interview and move end of, beginning of August.

Whilst I am here can I just ask a quick question? All I have heard about is people receiving packets ie pack 3. I never received a pack , so to speak... just a letter telling me to go to a website that had all the forms to fill out, docs I will need to get, and information about booking a medical??? Has this happened to anyone else? M x

Congratulations and thank you for the encouragement. We are patiently waiting for an interview date, hopefully sometime this month. I had originally believed that filing in October would give us ample time to move and marry by July, but now it appears as though it may be cutting it close.

We are moving ahead with our wedding plans. My fiancée is in contact with my mother and the two are attending to every single small detail. Here, as a typical guy, I am a bit useless. I am happy to help decide some things, but others just don't seem important to me, or I just don't know what would be best. I shall leave it to the two ladies to decide.

I prefer the word apartment as that's what they are listed as lol. I was always under the impression that apartments in the UK are self contained whereas flats share communal areas. But now I just think people use the word apartment as it sounds better. Still no word on when I can move in though.

hi everyone!!! its tough here in usa coz of the bad weather in baltimore...when i arrived it was drizzling and then few days after it was sunny and hot, after a few weeks of vacation with the change of weather from sunny, rainy and the cold i got the flu but its good it just started with the spring allergy and now i'm almost well but its not the H1N1 or swine flu hahaha coz i don't have any fever its just the common colds.

Has anyone started with the AOS i have been having problems with the civil surgeon around my area coz they wont give me the vaccination follow up i need unless i go through the whole medical/physical exam and it would cost like almost $200. I read thru the websites that i need the I-693 form and only need to submit part 1, part 2 (vaccination section), part 5 (signature of the civil surgeon) but i've called almost 5 already and they said they would only sign unless i go thru the whole medical thing.

I have read about exemptions since you would have already had the medical exam within the past year and same with the vaccination record. You might want to post this in the AOS board or do a search.
