All of our Packet 3 is ready too except for the police certificate. My fiancée was hoping to pick it up while in Bangkok for a conference this past week. Unfortunately it was still not ready, so she is heading home and they will mail it to her next week. Perhaps I can suggest to her that she overnight Packet 3 as soon as she gets it.

Hi everyone ...

congratulations for all the one got approvall    ...I have same questions ??????????

My fiancee applied for the visa k1 on 28 of outubro 2008.We got a RFE on February 24 they asking for my divorcee translated.Today is March 27 2009 & not receives swims of answer. They are investigating above the my divorcee here into the Brazil if & cool or not? Why silly delay? or maybe because I have in my passport the visa G5 validates until august of 2009? I am not by using this visa anymore ,because I am into the Brazil. My boss has said what this visa he should be canceled at the moment what I leave the coutry US.ok I come back to Brazil on December of 2008.Is possible my visa G5 was even canceled or not? Is possible some of this problems to be delay on my process k1? welcomes the responses. good luck for everyone

:crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:    .

Did you send the translated divorce decree and if so have USCIS emailed you or updated the status online to say they have received it and resumed processing your case? If they have then they usually say it will take 60 days from receiving the documents they require. You can try contacting them but they will probably say to wait until the 60 days is over.

I also sended my RFE back, but my status online is still showing that it asks for evidence.

However my fiance called them and they said that they got our documents and they are processing the case.. But it didn't update on the site.

I hate this waiting time, I feel like im the only one not gotten my noa2 yet :s

I got a question.. Let's say that i'm lucky and my case will get approved within a month, I get my NOA2 and everything go smooth after that (no delay, medical and interview is passed) and I get my visa..

Do you guys think that I will have my visa in hand within 12th August, that is if all go just fine?

Cuz my fiance is coming here 17th June and staying till 12th August, where im supposed to fly with him home to USA, but with this delay of my RFE i'm afraid if we wont make it.

Maybe a stupid question, but im just so scared..

7/31/2008 - Sended I-129F to VSC (lost in mail).

9/24/2008 - Resended I-129F to VSC (*sigh* lost again).

10/30/2008 - Resended again I-129F to VSC.

11/11/2008 - NOA1

03/09/2009 - RFE received

03/11/2009 - Returned RFE

05/23/2009 - Recieved 2nd RFE

08/05/2009 - Denied. Besides that he turns out to be a total jerk. Case ended.

Hello Oct fellow, I have question on what to send after NOA2. On the Step by Step Guide it says " send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiancee for the interview..." Is it include the original of birth certficate?

And in Affidavit of Support, does it need the tax report as one of the supporting evidence?

What are the supporting evidence beside the letter for employer..?

Thanks guys for your answer and reply.

You do not need to send your birth certificate. All originals include airplane boarding passes, hotel receipts, letters that you exchanged, etc.

The I-134 Affidavit of Support has different requirements for different countries. In Thailand they has for a letter from employer, tax transcript or return from the past year (2008), and a copy of the petitioners passport. Others ask for pay slips from the past couple of months, three years of tax returns and/or transcripts, etc. It should specify in the Packet 3.

Glad someone started this thread!!

I filled last week on 10/7 and they cashed the check on 10/10, so I'm hoping for NOA1 soon. Quick question -- how do they send the NOA1 via email or regular mail?

Look forward to waiting and celebrating this process together.

You can check the NOA1 date online. If you have access to your cashed check image (available to me from my bank), you can get your receipt number which should be stamped on the back of the check. The number will probably start with the letters EAC followed by 10 digits. Go to the following link:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do

and enter this number. It should list the NOA1 date. I don't know if they'll email the NOA1 but you'll definitely receive one in the mail. Hope this helps.

WE also sent I 30 in OCT 2008 and still wating for NOA 2 . :))))))))

It does vary depending on the country. I would follow the advice on VJ just as a point of reference and see what the embassy ask for. All I needed was my taxes from 2007, they didn't even want to see the letter from my employer. I did not have the original petition information but I did have all the evidence regarding our relationship. The woman at the interview said 'give me everything you have'...I feel this is important. They also wanted a copy of my passport but did not my Birth Cert. Who knows it is different everywhere. Good Luck!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Balvino and I are here in Boston safe and sound. He seems to really like my family, including the dogs. Mini our kitten was so well behaved on the trip and also is happy to be safe in the house. Atlanta was very easy to navigate and everyone was nice. We were lucky with our arrival. We just missed a rush of flights so we were through the whole process quickly. I will do my POE and Embassy review this week. My family greeted us at the airport with signs and red, white and blue balloons....very funny. Trying to relax a little before launching into the paperwork again. BTW: Still no NOA2. I guess I will make a call next week.

Good Luck everyone!
