THE DISINFORMATION CONTINUES!!!

I JUST NOW SPOKE WITH GRACE AT THE EMBASSY, SHE SAID,"THE DOCUMENT VERIFICATION WILL NOT GO AWAY." MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE CAN CALL TO VERIFY.

john

i don't know how you asked grace..lol. but she told me that since there has been backlogs due to DV for the past months, they have lifted DV for recent applicants. i guess it's true since personally i wasn't asked for DV myself and a few people with same interview as mine was only asked for CENOMAR and other NSO originals. i guess the lifting of the DV is not retroactive..meaning, those still waiting for DV, still needs their DV results while those who just had their interviews at USEM are "lucky enough" not to undergo the DV.

i think the decision to lift the DV is just momentarily..just to remedy the backlog. but right now i'm just happy i didn't undergo the DV. it may not go away (DV), but right now they're somehow lifting it for the mean time..

We're you asked for the DV reciept you paid in metrobank during your interview?? this is crucial info.. girl.. just verifying..

Thank you ..

hey guys, i just hangged up after talking to grace coz i was doing a follow-up on my visa and she did say these exact words:

"MA'AM, WE USED TO DO DOCUMENT VERIFICATION BUT RIGHT NOW SINCE THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF BACKLOGS, WE ARE NOW ASKING FOR THE ORIGINALS DIRECTLY FROM THE APPLICANT, THIS NOW INCLUDES THE MARRIAGE INDEX FROM IR1, CR1, K3 APPLICANTS"

dang..i guess some got lucky..

Ok, if that's really true... my question is, all applicants have since been submitting "originals" - CENOMARs, BCs and MCs that came from NSO in security paper...if they can do that now, why didnt they do it before??? Why wait for backlogs?

I thought so too....not being a KJ here but i dont think USEM would even suspend this part of the process...considering that they are very consciously strict of security and fraud....am i right or am i right? hmmm... :( which is it?

My husband called usem and he talked to grace. she said that she's not aware about the removing of document verificationt. Embassy is very inconsistent.:angry:

In light of this, it's still prudent to assume that DV still necessary until such time that the Embassy can release formal and dupdated guidelines. Everything now is either verbatim or inconsistencies from the website.

But for those who are to be interviewed, I see no issue here true or not in the sense that if there is still a need for DV you will be just asked to pay the DV after the interview which also happened to some of us when we were interviewed. Fact is, I was asked to pay twice for the DV - one before the interview and the other after.

Delbros make money of out this and USEM will be permanently concerned with security and fraud..my pure thoughts and my brain cells is telling me that the DV is here to stay.. as far as i am concerned...and not quoting anybody else...just my pure thoughts...

I wouldn't start dancing yet as DV is still on the USEM website!

What Grace says don't mean squat!

Yeah, words are easy to say and not reliable because people can just deny what they say or prentend and lie about it. :) if the DV is still in the website then it still stands...if its not from the GC (General Consul) then its not official...sorry guys...that's how i feel about it right now...if there is no black and white announcement then its not officially true :(

Yup. Let's not start celebrating news until it's officially announced. But this is welcome news to those who will are to be interviewed.

Now my question is if indeed it's true, what happens to those of us who are still waiting for the DV? Will our cases be expedited? That also remains to be seen.

Document Verification:

USEM needs to pull it head out of it ####### on this subject.

Just plain stupid, and all this DV should be done by the USEM before the Interview is Scheduled.

We went thru 1 month on DV......

The answer was the same per our recent call for updates. The visa applications will not be processed until and only after USEM got the documents from the NSO. Lorraine said it would take 3 weeks after that while Grace said it would take 5 weeks.

My guess is both Lorraine and Grace do not really know anything as to when the visas will be processed given the backlogs at the USEM.

Grrrr.....
