I was starting to think NOBODY would get it.

Sadly, that was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the thread title.

Not sad...I'd think that most folks in a "certain" age range, from certain parts of the US, would think the same way.

But...

Wondering...is there anyone born here (US) that doesn't like DP and Licorice (Pedroh, get your mind out of the gutter).

In Japan, everyone raves about A&W Restaurant, (something about the fries) but they don't like root beer...it's kind of a strange love affair.

I can eat black licorice only if I'm in the mood for it. My dad loves it. He even chews the black licorice gum. Bleh! I love Dr. Pepper though. I think it might be an acquired taste or something.

When I was a child, in grade school, we actually sang that whole song at a PTA meeting. I can't remember the whole thing now though. Just the part I posted above.

ME like Thalia too, muy caliente!! Btw non-hispanic folks here, don't say muy caliente, it doesn't make any sense, muy caliente it's a direct translation for "so hot" and caliente in spanish can be used to talk about temperature only. It's better to say esta buenota!

Todd, my main Dude, is just yer average Joe Six-Pack with a cabinet of snowmobile trophies and mooseheads. But, you know, also what I love about this great country is that anyone, who is Arab or Alaskan, can become a doctor like Mr. or Mrs. Pepper and, like a maverick, be an outsider in the race for the White House, which is like the color of snow but, you know, not cold.
