Our case was completed on 9/25/2008 and my wife will be having her interview on 11/4/2008 ( election day)at Lagos.

When is the best time to go for medical test and what documents does she need for the medical test in Lagos?.

I read in this forum that one can not enter the embassy with a cell phone. What are the other items one is not allowed to enter the embassy with?

Thanks Tonysmart.

I think you should start the medical process right now. The vaccinations take a while to complete and it's best to have it done and in your hand in advance of the interview. Cutting it too close is STRESSFUL.

Good Luck.

Glad you finally got the interview appointment. Yes, get the medical done in plenty of time, cameras are also not allowed to be brought in.

Our friend waited outside and took pics of the embassy and I had to talk up a storm for the police not to take him to jail. ......and my SO who told the friend to just erase them and almost got hauled off just for saying that.

Hello Tony,

I would recommend having her stay at a hotel the night before the interview for safety and to get there on time. Unless of course she lives close by.

Your love, commitment and dedication will shine through in your interview.

Yes, please schedule madicals ASAP.

My wife did the medical and received the results one week later. I would not wait too long. Also there could be an extended wait, as a lot of people are taking the exams.

She will need to take the interview letter, 4 pictures, but I only think they need 2, and a her passport.
