Happy Thursday!

Yesterday, I was trying to find a snack to bring back to work with me so I picked up Wheat Thins (The biggest mistake of my life..lol) it tasted like cardboard sprinkled with seasoning -YUCK!!!!! I think i will stick to my honey roasted peanuts!

Happy Thursday!

Hello! I've never heard anyone say that about Wheat Thins before. Maybe they are an acquired taste? I've eaten them for so long and enjoy them. Good savories are hard to come by I guess. Have you tried raw nuts? You get a little more nutritional value. My favorites are raw cashews. Yes, I too think honey roasted anything are a great stand in. Happy snacking! :thumbs:

I love wheat thins!!! Maybe you have to acquire the taste like Elnady said. I've ate them all of my life so I guess I don't see the cardboardy taste!!! HG welcome back mister!!! Glad to see you again!! Have a good Thursday!

Happy Thursday! I love wheat thins....with anything on them except the sundried tomato ones - a little too much coating. But other than that, you can put a wheat thin in front of me and I'm happy.

I grew up eating Wheat thins..but doused with Easy Cheese.....eewwwww...... :D

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

I don't like wheat thins either....too bland for me. I like some of the kashi crackers that have veggies in them...they are great!

I went to the cafeteria here at work to get oatmeal cookies for breakfast...hehe..but they didn't have any. :unsure: So I ended up with real oatmeal loaded with raisins, brown sugar and slivered almonds...not bad..I guess I ended up eating healthier than the oatmeal cookies.... :thumbs:

I love wheat thins. I lived off of them when i was preggo.

Zaid is sick today. So far just a little stuffiness in his nose. Im really afraid he is going to get real sick, and that means we wont be able to go to the pumpkin patch on saturday, and we have a picture appointment at the mall saturday morning. a sick crabby baby wont be good.

Well i hope everyone has a good day. I have to tend to the dog and cats :)

Have a migraine today. It started yesterday and decided to keep me company all night and apparently doesn't wanna go away today either. :crying:

Hubster has been saying that we do too much unnecessary spending for quite some time now. I've been telling him all along that its not unnecessary spending, it's bills and bills take money. So last night he decided to prove ME wrong and he went to the bank account and started going thru what we've spent money on in the last 3 months. It went something like this.........

him: $36.00 @ wherever?

me: gas

him: $42.oo @ wherever?

me: groceries

him: $55.00 @ wherever?

me: hurricane ike preparation

him: $150.00 @ the pharmacy? how do u spend $150.00 at the pharmacy?

me: that is 2 months of medications that were charged to my acct and I paid them all off at 1 time.

him: $9.00 @ sonic?......

him: oh, yeah, I asked you to bring me something

him: $xx.xx att

me: bill

him: $xxx.xx

me: bill

This goes on thru all the money spent. When he was done interrogating me, lol, I said...do you see now that we don't usually just blow the money on stuff we don't need? We aren't overspending but our bills are high so that's why we have no money left when you don't have work to help contribute to the household income.

He then went on to do his own thing and I went to sleep.

We can't do the squeeze cheese at our house because I catch a little boy and girl squeezing it in their mouths!!! It's gone too fast!!

Kelly, I hope baby Zaid feels better. Malek had a cold that lasted a few days and I think it was actually allergies. We are doing pictures this weekend. We are bad parents...the kid hasn't had a professional photo in forever!!

LOL Amal, it's funny how when it comes down to sharing what or should I say whom is spending the story may do some changing around.

Got another email from Cairo, still in AP. A little light at the end of the tunnel would sure be nice sometimes.

I-130 Approved : 4-18-08 - USCIS approval!!

Visa Interview Date : 6-22-08

Case sent to WADC: 8-6-08 - FBI check

Email From Embassy 1-09 - Still in AP (7 months)

19 DHL scans - 2-19-09

1-26-09 - Out of AP, now final review

2-26-09 - Visa in hand!

3-11-09 - POE JFK - Got stuck there due to immigration taking too long. They didn't change his visa from CR1 to IR1, have to go to immigration here to fix it.

3-12-09 - Arrived in Portland!!

5-29-2010 - Zane was born ** Absolute best day of my life!

6-7-2010 - Ahmed went back to Egypt

8-23-11 - Filed for divorce

1-12-12 - Divorce final
