Hola a todos, estaba viendo el otro dia que al parecer la vacuna contra el virus del papiloma humano es obligatoria? mi duda es si se la tiene que poner uno en sus paises o es alla en estados unidos al momento de hacer el ajuste de estatus, y si saben aproximadamente cuanto cuesta? ademas segun tenia yo entendido esa vacuna se aplicaba dependiendo de la edad de la mujer!! o no?

La vacuna HPV no es obligatoria para recibir la visa, pero SI es obligatoria para el Ajuste de Estado si la mujer tiene menos de 26 años. Ésta consiste de 3 dosis y el costo de cada una es de más ó menos $120 dólares, claro que el precio también depende en el lugar dónde se la aplique. Si quieren se la pueden aplicar en sus países pero asegúrense que el doctor que hace el exámen médico para la embajada apruebe todas las vacunas incluyendo la del HPV. Sin esta aprobación, la vacuna no es válida para el AOS.

Gracias Diana, yo sabia eso mismo que dependia de la edad de la mujer, se supone que entre mas años se tengan mas probabilidades de contagio existen debido a la cantidad de parejas sexuales que se hayan tenido, y en este caso la vacuna no seria eficaz, ademas que el costo es bastante alto, $360 por las 3 dosis wow, inventan las vacunas para que solo una parte de la poblacion las pueda usar!!! en fin, en mi caso no aplica tengo 33 años, asi que no creo que ni aqui en Guatemala ni alla. :mellow:

Jajajaajajajaa, tal parece que si, aunque yo no estoy de acuerdo con eso de las edades, yo creo que seria algo que cada mujer deberia de evaluar dependiendo de su vida sexual, y no que den por sentado que las que pasamos de 26 ya no entramos en la clasificacion, segun dicen igual se la puede poner uno , que mas da, el asunto es que si realmente ya existe contagio pues ya pa que!!!! pero como sea deberia de ser cosa de cada quien! :P

Bueno las últimas cifras de contagio que he visto de HPV son de 1 en 3 tienen el virus pero 1 en muchos más desarrollan cancer uterino. HPV puede ser causante de otras enfermedades también- tan "rutinarias" como mononucleosis, ciertas gripas, etc. Creo que la inmunidad de la vacuna actual se 'garantiza' hasta los 26 años...

el colmo que hasta para las vacunas exista la discriminancion, jajaajajaja, aunque sabes que estaba viendo el otro dia no me acuerdo donde , que esta vacuna no esta disponible al menos no lo estara gratuita u obligatoria en la cartilla de vacunacion para los niños menores de 11, lo cual me parece ilogico siendo ellos los portadores del virus , ya que ellos son los que infectan a la mujer, y es por eso que a mayor parejas sexuales mas riesgo no por el numero sino por la cantidade mujeres con que estos hombres han estado y asi seria una cadena de nunca acabar, nos queda entonces seguir con nuestros controles anuales (mientras llegamos a los 50).
