11/25/08 - Received welcome letter...and Green Card!!!

12/21/08 - ceremonial wedding

10/9/10 - Sent I-751 and started the fresh hell that is ROC

10/14/10 - NOA1 for ROC

10/29/10 - received appointment for Biometrics

11/22/10 - Biometrics appointment

Currently: Living blissfully with my Essex lad...

thanks for all your congradualtions. well Vito arrived safe and sound last night, looked at his ,mail this morning and couldn't see anything resembling the NOA2. So i dont know where that puts us,not got anything more from nvc either to our knowledge . i'd love to know if our file has been sent to the embassy yet. so excited. could someone please confirm to me at which point do we need the noa2 copy, it needed at the interview or not till aos? :unsure:

********************UPDATE ********************

Vito just phoned the uscis about our missing noa2 and the nvc. Heres the results.

Uscis, as far as she was concerned we were still recieved and pending. when Vito insisted that nvc already had our approved petition, she asked how we knew he told her, nvc letter. she approligsed and told us our approval had not been updated on the system yet. as far as the missing NOA2. Theres a standard 30 days to wait for its arrival, and we should wait another two weeks if it doesnt come by then to contact them again.

NVC,

We found out

1) we were approved on the 23rd of september. ( :blink: Vito phoned uscis on the 24th/or 25th my time, to ask why we had not been approved yet and were told that we should not expect anything till december, according to the offical dates. :bonk: )

2) It left NVC, on the 30th of September for the embassy in london. :dance: :dance: :dance: (the letter we got on the 5th from NVC, was dated the 1st of october, to tell us they had recieved it and would send it on within the week. yet they already had. not received notice officially on paper of them sending it yet)

We are so happy and excited. Weve gone from one second thinking we were never gunna get out of uscis or even be touched to seeing the finish line in sight. :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: so liberating and uplifting,

yet i can't help feel a little bemussed too, at the level and amount of miscomunitcation, misinformation and inconsistencies in one case :blink: oh well who cares, on sunday just gone, we thought we were never gunna be touched and they had forgotten us, today, friday, not only are we approved but prob already have our case at the embassy. :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

2009-07-11 AOS packet mailed (and supposedly delivered the same day)

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!
