denial of EAD??????

HELP!!!!...going a little nuts here...just saw my update online that i have been denied an EAD????...i haven't got the letter yet...but am very worried?...i am from Canada...followed all the instructions...why would they deny me?...anyone else have this problem??????...

i am worried now about my AOS...will that get denied too?...soo worried now...

It is probably due to using the wrong code for a K-1.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

Pandorrah, sorry to hear! So, did it say online anywhere if additional evidence is requested or was it a verdict with no elaboration? I've gotten a RFE letter before, and online it gave me no detail. I had to wait to receive the actual letter to know what to do. What was the last online update on your pending I-485, was it touched again since your bio?

There are some case here that EAD were denied because they use the wrong code instead of C9 they use other code.

02/07/2011-USCIS online status update-

02/12/2011- Received Interview Letter Scheduled March 14

02/12/2011- Received Descheduled letter

02/17/2011- USCIS online Status update

02/22/2011-New IL arrived schedule for March 29

02/22/2011-Descheduled Letter Again ( 2nd Time)

02/23/2011- I called USCIS and I was told new schedule in the computer for March 22

yes...exactly...so i don't understand it...i have no criminal background...just your all-around good citizen all my life...just doesn't seem fair...we were hoping i would be able to apply for a job by end of October...

A lot of people are getting denial for EAD because of expired forms.

Although the date in the right corner might be the same on different forms, they only accept the latest

revised form ( that date you can find in the lower right corner of form in tiny print).

I just resent my application and hope this time they will accept it...

Anyone else had the sae experience?

If you answered C6 instead of C9, it will be denied. It's a quick fix. And, it's very common.
