So sorry to read that Laura. As always though, your spirit is shining through in the other thread. That will take you both very far in the face of any adversity. Lots of love and aloha to you both out east (L)

Here's to something wonderfully amazing and unexpected on the horizon.

Nick and I are feeling better this evening.

We went to his parents house for cake and Nick drank a few beers.

As we walked home (We live 2 blocks away) Nick stopped and thanked me for standing by him.

I told him he never has to thank me...that we are SO strong because of what we've been through and that we will get through this.

I know in my heart we will be okay and perhaps this is a huge turning point for Nick and getting the career that he deserves.

I cannot believe the support that I have gotten since I first posted this morning, it's unreal.

I am so very thankful, I'm overwhelmed.

Thank you all so so much....even though that doesn't feel like enough for how you have all made me feel.

1. I've been totally out of it with things here at home so I have no idea what is going on but

2. I think Laura, you are the cat's meow, so if you and Nick are going through some trials, I send you love, good juju, prayers and some Tim's

Awe Laura.. good for you for looking at this as what it is.. an opportunity. Kipster & I went through a job loss last year, but my husband now has the most stable, most sure job he's ever had (not bad for the aviation industry). If it wasn't for him losing his last job, he would have never found his current position. Sending good thoughts to you both.. You guys have such love and devotion for each other, you WILL make it!!
