Changing interview date

We have recieved our K1 interview date and wonder if there is any way to postpone this date ....

i've looked through the website but cant seem to find anything.

yes, all what you have to do is to call to the Embassy and request it.

Many people do this by calling the embassy directly.

Haven't seen you posting before. Have you checked out the Canada Forum here on VJ?

You should fill in your timeline...please. We don't even know what Consulate your interview is at, nor what visa you're going to be interviewed for!

I will say, that you will not be able to call either the Montreal or Vancouver Consulate to cancel an interview. When is it? Why do you want to cancel it? Is there something that's not done yet, that we can help you with?

If you absolutely must cancel the interview, then email the consulate, with your case number in the subject line. I would also type in the words CANCEL in the subject line as well.

Are you wanting to reschedule it later?

Any information and your timeline filled out would allow us to be more helpful.

why not try emailing them? I sent emails to the Montreal consulate and so far they've been good in answering my inquiries
