how accurate are the processing times on VJ?

hi guys,

i just want to get an understanding of how accurate the processing times on VJ are? from what i have noticed, VSC has barely started touching March applications and in the last 4-5 days i have seen that the VJ timelines have changed drastically. as of today (according to VJ) VSC is processing applications from March 18. if you hear member stories and their comments its clear that VSC is processing February applications at the moment. so my question: is the data here accurate? how is it calcuated?

Each application is different. If you look on the tracking spreadsheet you'll see that some VSC June filers have been approved while some April filers are still waiting. I think they just average the time taking to get the NOA-2 from all the filers within your processing timeframe and give you a estimate. But ultimately it's USCIS that judges when it's filed and processed.

i dont expect VJ timelines to be accurate to the dot but i guess i am just trying to figure out if it is fairly accurate...it has appeared to me in the past that it has been fairly accurate but the dates that have been changing for a few days dont neccessarily add up. but i think you are right, their dates are just an average of all the members.
