I'm under IR2 immigrant visa and they also required to have verification of docu with regards to my marital status. do you know how long this process takes? what I brought during my interview was me and my parents pictures.

DV is reuquired only for marriage based applicants. Yours application is IR2.

the CO was the one who said I need DV. I'm under IR2 but also under CSPA. I aged out but would still qualify if I'm unmarried.

The page that says you will need DV is last updated: 4/30/2008

The page that has no mention of the DV is last updated: 9/23/2008

But, I would still get the DV. The cost is small compared to the delayed it will cost you.
