I'm just confused. I already have my Authenticated copy of my Birth certificate and also my Certificate of No Marriage. Do I still need to pay for the Document Verification even if I already have those documents?

Thank You to all those who will take time to reply to this post.

Yes.. most definately.. all visa applicants must pay it.. coz the embassy will conduct their own verification even if you have your BC and CENOMAR.

Have a good day!!

Please let us know the web site you are referring to. I looked under the Manila Embassy web site and it says:

"K-1, K-3, CR-1, IR-1, F-1 and F2-B applicants will normally have their documents verified at the National Statistics Office (NSO) before the U.S. Embassy Manila can issue the visa. The cost of the document verification is PhP 650 per applicant."

The link is here: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3219.html

Look towards the bottom of the page.

I don't see Document Verification Fee as part of the Interview Process anymore.

Maybe the US Embassy finally pulled thier head out of thier ####### and figured out DV is nothing but a pain for everyone involved.

Document Verification is/was causing much headache for everyone involved.

It says the DV is required here as well: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3217.html

I was really hoping rockbabyrock27 was correct about no more DV but I think we will be waiting along with the rest.

the CO was the one who said I need DV. I'm under IR2 but also under CSPA. I aged out but would still qualify if I'm unmarried.
