Okay, here it goes...I'm pregnant. 14 weeks along and we weren't even trying (we were actually preventing - but that's another story).:blink::whistle: After we got over the initial shock of it all, we're very excited with having a new addition to our family.

CONGRATS......that's wonderful news.

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Wonderful news. Congratulations.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

This is my first, our first really. I feel very good...no morning sickness, nausea, vomiting...just exhausted. I am now walking 3 miles a day, which has actually helped with the exhaustion so that's a good thing. I've lost a nice bit of weight in the beginning and my dr is happy with that. Furthermore, I've stayed the same weight for 6 weeks now...so I'm cool. :star:

The only thing that has been a pain is that I am a diabetic and before I was just on an oral medication, now I'm on insulin 4 times a day...so I'm feeling truly like a pin cushion with injections and blood checks. :( As the nurse at the diabetes clinic tells me..."just remember it's all for the baby." So that is my motto.

You could ask about having a insulin pump its so much easier.I have been a diabetic for along time and I have 5 children.
