I was being sarcastic.

However, the same people who bash entertainers speaking out with liberal views, are throwing the praise around for the ones with conservative views. Hey, my boyfriend is a prime example. He is sick of hearing actors and the Dixie Chicks using their celebrity to talk about politics, but Toby Kieth can say whatever he wants, Ted Nugent is a wise fellow, and what's wrong with Governor Arnold? He doesn't even see a parallel, as long as it fits in with what he agrees with.

well, if you look at it this way...celebrities just have a heckuva lot more time when there's a microphone stuck in their faces. they probably don't talk much more often about politics than the rest of us do, we just don't have microphones and camera crews following us about.

That said, if California can have an immigrant action movie star Arnie, and Minnesota could have wrestler Jesse The Body Ventura for a time, it doesn't seem such a stretch that former rock star Ted Nugent could run for office and win. Not that I'd vote for him (even if I could), he's a git. But stranger things have happened. Remember Doc Brown's reaction when Marty told him Ronald Regan was President?
