OT - has anyone ever had an actual lump in their upper stomach that they can feel and which hurts? I had it a few months ago and it went away so I didn't bother seeking out help but now it's back. :crying:

Sounds like a hernia to me -- definitely get it checked out.

Any medical people in da house?

So I'm sitting at my desk and the boss comes up and tells everyone....'I am purchasing flu shots for anyone that wants one. Go to the pharmacy between 1-2pm.'

Ouch. 8 of us took him up on the offer and I swear she poked the needle straight into a bone! AFTER the shot, they give us a paper saying what can happen. Am I right to think I could get a fevor tonight from this? If so, I might as well take a tylenol now. Owwwwwww it really hurts. (I hate shots)

Anybody else getting a flu shot this year?

I shy away from taking a needle on a voluntary basis

Seriously, though, I'm deathly afraid of needles  I've never gotten a flu shot.

Good afternoon and Good night everyone

ok I'm back as things are going better for me

have a nice blessed night all

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

I always get a flu shot and have never had any complications other than a sore arm! lol

Some people do get serious ones. I would just relax and see what happens.

Unfortunately I have the FLU right now. UGH!!! I didn't get a flu shot yet this year, so maybe its the new strain that I wasn't immunized for yet. Boohoo!

Some people have minor-to-severe side effects -- fever, sore arm, and so forth.

I choose to not get the flu shot. Haven't gotten it in the past few years.... it's a personal choice. Haven't gotten sick in the past year, believe it or not... *shrugs*

Kids and older adults should definitely get it for extra boost. Even tho one gets the flu shot, it doesn't completely prevent the flu.

*takes medical hat off*

How's everyone doing? Having a long break in between work. Hope ya'll well!

I get a flu shot every year :)

I had the full blown flu when I was in college and also the one year I didnt get the shot, when my husband had been here for a month and both times it was the most hideous illness ever. the second time I begged the doctor to just euthanize me. so I am a believer in the shot.

I always get my shot...just my little preventative measure. I have had to do it for a long time, because as a diabetic I'm more susceptible to illness. Also, when I get the flu it turns into bronchial pneumonia so I'd rather get a little pinch.
