what is happening? anyone has any news why some of us feb filers haven't been approved yet? they have been approving april, may, and even june filers lately, and none from feb and march. i will appreciate any feedback. this is crazy! ~ LIZA

It may simply be a case that your FBI name/background checks have been held up. With a lot of the asian countries (Thailand, China, etc) they suspect fraud so they run additional checks etc.

In saying this, it would not hurt to call USCIS and make them well aware of the fact you are still here and want to know what is going on as they have passed your processing date at CSC.

Good luck!

Hi, Im one of the feb. filers and as of now im just waiting for my visa. As said from the above pertaining to your papers try to follow up or call uscis to inquire of your petition.

well, USCIS is so difficult to call. there is no way we can talk to a "live" person. we wrote them and they told us to wait. not even the congressman's office could do anything. their advise is for us to wait.

When you call them follow the steps to get more information about an RFE. There are instructions around VJ somewhere, but you can just listen to the recordings and there is one about getting more information about an RFE, that will patch you through to an actual person who can give you information! It's horrible that they're still keeping people waiting like this.
